We are thrilled to announce that the\u00a0WP Rocket\u00a0reseller plan is now available<\/strong>. This will allow companies to directly resell WP Rocket and package\u00a0it in their offers!<\/p>\n

A reseller plan?<\/h2>\n

Since\u00a0the beginning, we have\u00a0not allowed the\u00a0use of the\u00a0pro licence if you are a hosting company or if you sell a “performance package” for example, which includes WP Rocket.<\/p>\n

It’s very easy to understand why we don’t allow this: if hosting companies buy a pro licence to put on their clients’ websites, we will only sell 20 pro licences per year because they will take the entire\u00a0market.<\/p>\n

On the other\u00a0hand, we really\u00a0would like to partner\u00a0with hosting companies and WordPress-focused businesses<\/strong>. They would provide a great service to their customers by including WP Rocket, and create\u00a0a new revenue channel for us.<\/p>\n

We were very busy working on WP Rocket and we didn’t have too\u00a0many requests for reselling, so we didn’t really work on a reseller program\u00a0until a few weeks ago.<\/strong><\/p>\n

What we did in the meantime is a “coupon partnership” with some hosting companies like SiteGround<\/a>, for example. Basically\u00a0they would provide our customers a discount on their service and we would\u00a0provide a coupon code for theirs in\u00a0our customers’\u00a0account page<\/a>.<\/p>\n

These types of partnership have been effective for us\u00a0by providing WP Rocket with\u00a0good visibility,\u00a0credibility and revenue.<\/strong><\/p>\n

We started \u00a0our partnership\u00a0with SiteGround<\/a>\u00a0at the end of October 2014<\/strong>. In 7 months we’ve had 106 orders and more than\u00a0$5000 in sales\u00a0directly from SiteGround<\/a>.

We could have made some money using our partners’ affiliate programs but\u00a0we don’t want to do that. We prefer recommending our partners in a trustworthy way because their products\/services are good<\/strong>, not because their\u00a0affiliate programs are good.<\/p>\n

We really recommend you create as many partnerships as possible when you run any business. This is worth the time!<\/p>\n

We were happy with these different partnerships,\u00a0\u00a0but we kept\u00a0thinking that a reseller plan would be much better.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The reseller plan as we imagined it would be\u00a0quite simple :<\/p>\n
