There were some holiday periods which explains why\u00a0we didn&#8217;t publish a lot of updates \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n<h2>Revenue<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>$90 192<\/strong> in revenue (<strong>+69%<\/strong>)<\/li>\n<li><strong>1 330<\/strong> orders (<strong>+38%<\/strong>)<\/li>\n<li><strong>483<\/strong> renewals (<strong>+154<\/strong>%)<\/li>\n<li><strong>850<\/strong>\u00a0new customers (<strong>+26.9%<\/strong>)<\/li>\n<li><strong>3 813<\/strong> websites add (<strong>+23.7%<\/strong>)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>As you can see, these\u00a0are great\u00a0numbers showing\u00a0huge growth. This can been explained by 4\u00a0main reasons :<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The result from <a href=\"https:\/\/wp-rocket.me\/blog\/inside-wp-rocket-may-2015\/\">our plan to increase our customer acquisition<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/wp-rocket.me\/blog\/inside-wp-rocket-june-2015\/\">Our new strategy for\u00a0renewals\u00a0<\/a><\/li>\n<li>The U.S. Independence Day promotion<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/wp-rocket.me\/blog\/2-years-reports-feedbacks\/\">Our anniversary promotion day<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>For our 2nd anniversary celebration we offered a one-day only,\u00a0<strong>30%<\/strong>\u00a0 discount (and 20% for Independence Day) \u00a0on\u00a0all licenses, and <strong>a special deal on renewals<\/strong> : for 2 year renewals we offered 6 extra months, and for 4 year renewals we offered 1 extra year.<\/p>\n<p>This worked very well, we did <strong>$15 733 during the anniversary day promotion with 162 renewals!<\/strong>\u00a0On Independence Day we did $7624.<\/p>\n<p>Here is the email, we&#8217;ve sent for our anniversary (this is the email for the business licences segment):<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-thumbnail wp-image-586\" src=\"https:\/\/wp-rocket.me\/wp-content\/uploads\/2\/renewal-800x718.jpg\" alt=\"renewal\" width=\"800\" height=\"718\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The renewal offer worked very well, a lot of customers directly renewed for 4 years.<\/p>\n<p>We&#8217;ve already explained in <a href=\"https:\/\/wp-rocket.me\/blog\/inside-wp-rocket-may-2015\/\">a previous report<\/a>, that we would like to propose automatic renewals for our customers. Indeed an important renewal rate would increase a lot our monthly revenue.<\/p>\n<p>So before setting-up automatic renewals, we&#8217;ve added new renewal offers in our website :<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-585\" src=\"https:\/\/wp-rocket.me\/wp-content\/uploads\/2\/renew-my-licence-account.png\" alt=\"renew-my-licence-account\" width=\"610\" height=\"561\" \/><\/p>\n<p>We&#8217;ve learned a lot on how to increase renewals thank&#8217;s to our promotional emails, so we&#8217;ve decided to put what we learned directly on our website.<\/p>\n<p>Before it was only possible to renew for one year, now customers can directly renew to 2 or 4 years. This is working, we&#8217;ve already customers who are renewing for more than 1 year!<\/p>\n<p>We know that this month is exceptional regarding to revenue and next month will certainly not be as good.<\/p>\n<p>To give some\u00a0perspective,\u00a0<strong>last year in July<\/strong> we did $20 276, and we beat that revenue in September.<br \/>\nLet&#8217;s see if we can do the same this year!<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_589\" style=\"width: 737px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-589\" class=\"size-full wp-image-589\" src=\"https:\/\/wp-rocket.me\/wp-content\/uploads\/2\/stat-wp-rocket.png\" alt=\"Statistics from January 2015\" width=\"727\" height=\"860\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-589\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Statistics from January 2015<\/p><\/div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>Content marketing strategy<\/h2>\n<p>We are continuing to focus on our blog posts to create great content. We are super happy to see that every month more and more people are visiting\u00a0our blog.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_576\" style=\"width: 810px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-576\" class=\"wp-image-576 size-thumbnail\" src=\"https:\/\/wp-rocket.me\/wp-content\/uploads\/2\/blog-800x165.png\" alt=\"blog\" width=\"800\" height=\"165\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-576\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Traffic on the blog<\/p><\/div>\n<p>This strategy requires\u00a0a lot of time in order to write good content, but\u00a0the growth we\u00a0have leads to\u00a0more tickets to handle so there&#8217;s less time to write blog posts.<\/p>\n<p>So we are hiring new teammates to join us!<br \/>\nAt\u00a0the same time we&#8217;re going to request\u00a0content from freelance WordPress writers to increase the frequency of \u00a0new blog posts.<\/p>\n<h2>Support\/Happiness Report<\/h2>\n<p>This month we had <strong>510 support tickets<\/strong> (+23%). This is fortunately not a big increase compared to the increase in\u00a0revenue, so that&#8217;s good news!<\/p>\n<p>We are working hard on creating new documentation posts to educate our customers as much as possible. We frequently repeat this, but good documentation is absolutely mandatory.<\/p>\n<p>There is one thing we want to do with\u00a0the documentation which is to translate it into several languages.\u00a0At the moment\u00a0we only have documentation in\u00a0English documentation and we used to think this would be\u00a0ok.<\/p>\n<p>A talk at WordCamp Europe, about the importance of having\u00a0documentation in multiple languages, changed our mind. So we&#8217;re going to translate it\u00a0into several languages very soon!<\/p>\n<p>This\u00a0will be definitely better for our non-English customers.<\/p>\n<p>Our first response time \u00a0increased this month. Lots of new tickets, and holidays for part of the team didn&#8217;t help\u00a0our response time.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-578\" src=\"https:\/\/wp-rocket.me\/wp-content\/uploads\/2\/respond-time.png\" alt=\"respond-time\" width=\"265\" height=\"304\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Our Happiness Score decreased too.
