A Shiny New Preload System<\/span><\/h2>\n

This is the heart of the 3.2 release. We\u2019re saying goodbye to the external preload bot, and welcoming the background preload process.<\/span><\/p>\n

It\u2019s the same system we\u2019ve been already using for sitemap preload, database optimization and critical CSS generation: this new process will be more efficient,<\/span> and will remove any dependency on external services. You can say <\/span>adieu!<\/span><\/i> to the spikes in CPU usage or server load.<\/span><\/p>\n

Activate it in: <\/span>Preload > Activate Preloading<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n

If you use the<\/span> Activate Preload <\/span><\/i>option only, the homepage and all the links found on it will be preloaded:<\/span>
\n<\/span><\/p>\n

    \n
  • when you save changes to the WP Rocket settings (since the cache is cleared)<\/span><\/li>\n
  • when the <\/span>Cache Lifespan<\/span><\/i> expires<\/span><\/li>\n
  • when you click the <\/span>Preload<\/span><\/i> link from the admin toolbar, or on the WP Rocket dashboard<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    If you also decide to use the <\/span>Sitemap-based cache preloadin<\/span><\/i>g option, the sitemaps automatically detected (Yoast, All-in-One) or defined in the text field will be preloaded <\/span>after<\/span><\/i> the homepage and all the links found on it are preloaded. <\/span><\/p>\n

    We also introduced the <\/span>possibility to stop the preload once triggered<\/b>: you will see a <\/span>Stop Preload<\/span><\/i> button in the preload notice.<\/span><\/p>\n

    Facebook Pixel Add-on<\/span><\/h2>\n

    Following what we already did with Google Tracking in WP Rocket 3.1, we added a one-click add-on to cache Facebook tracking files locally. <\/span>
    \n<\/span>This new add-on will take care of hosting Facebook Pixels and satisfy PageSpeed recommendations about browser caching rules ?<\/span>\"Browser<\/p>\n

    We cover instances of the pixel URLs with the <\/span>connect.facebook.net<\/span><\/i> domain. <\/span>
